We're proud to be a local, veteran-owned small business rooted in trust, consistency, and care.

Yori was founded in 2018, but our story goes back even further. Before launching our own brand, we worked with Helping Paws SoCal — a respected pet care business run by Vanessa and Devyn, who are family. With their full support, we took over the dog walking portion of the business and stepped out on our own under a new name: Yori.

The name "Yori" comes from a personal and unforgettable experience. While searching for the right name, our founder had a vivid dream about someone named Yori helping him in Japan. The dream lingered, and the name stuck. Out of curiosity, he looked it up and found that "Yori" means reliable in Japanese and just like that, it clicked. That moment became our foundation. Reliability isn't just our name — it's our promise.

Led by Raul, a U.S. Army veteran with over 10 years of professional dog walking experience, Yori Walks & Care brings discipline, accountability, and heart to every interaction. We've completed thousands of walks and built lasting relationships with pets and their people across North Orange County. We understand how important your dog is to you and we don't take that trust lightly.
